Charlie Karumi is an actor and content creator originally from Nairobi, Kenya, now based in British Columbia.
Charlie has featured in a range of acclaimed film and television projects, including the Academy Award - nominated short Watu Wote, Apple TV’s Invasion (Season 3) and the Berlinale-premiered Danish miniseries Liberty.
In addition to his screen work, Charlie is an accomplished television and radio presenter, having worked with two of the biggest radio stations in Nairobi. He was the second runner-up on TLC’s Africa-wide talent search Next Great Presenter and hosted entertainment magazine style shows on TV channels K24 and Scoop Network Africa.
Charlie is also a dynamic content creator with a combined audience of over 100,000 followers across social platforms, blending his on-screen artistry with engaging digital storytelling.
