Tammy Tsang is an award-winning screenwriter, born and raised in Vancouver, and loves focusing on stories that uplift Canadians. Her story experience includes season twelve of WHEN CALLS THE HEART (Hallmark) and the development rooms of a AAA video game through The Coalition Studio and Indigenous series, HEY CUZZIN’. She has written and produced a number of short films including: DRIVING TO YOU (2013), ROCKING ON AIR (2019), LAUREN IN THE BATHROOM (2021) which screened at the Vancouver Asian Film Festival and won multiple awards in the Mighty Asian Moviemaking Marathon's Ultra Short Category including Best Screenplay and Best Director, and OPERATION: STUPLLOYD (2023) which is streaming on CBC Gem's Canadian Reflections.
Her latest short, JACKIE’S HAVEN (2024) won a Leo Award in the Art Direction, Animation program. An alum of the Pacific Screenwriting Program's Scripted Series Lab 2022 cohort and a recipient of the 2022 Rogers-BSO Film Development Fund, Tammy developed, TABLETOP CLUB, a tween comedy series through the IPF Short Form Series Development Program and a feature film with ReelWorld's Emerging20 program. When not working on passion projects, she works as an assistant director in the film industry and teaching assistant directing at InFocus Film School.
